Riyadh: Saudi Arabia's Transport General Authority (TGA) participated in the UITP Middle East Conference of the International Association of Public Transport , which was held in the Sultanate of Oman. The conference reviewed the latest developments in the field of smart transportation and green technology, and their essential role in achieving sustainability in modern cities. Within the conference activities TGA Undersecretary for the Land Transport Sector Eng. Abdulmajeed Al-Tasan participated in a dialogue session on ways to strengthen public transport structure and integration. For his part, the TGA Supervisor General of the Passenger Transport Sector Dr. Rayan Al-Hazmi delivered a paper entitled "Intelligent Transportation Systems and Enhancing Communication and Mobility."
