SCMCHA meets Save Childern Director in Sa’ada


The Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation(SCMCHA), Ibrahim Al-Hamli, met today,Tuesday, in Sa’ada province, the new director of Save the Children International in Yemen, Muhammad Manna.

The meeting, which was attended by the Undersecretary of Sa’ada province for Humanitarian Affairs and Director of the Supreme Council Branch, Muhammad Baydan, discussed measures to ensure the continuity of implementation of projects that contribute to alleviating the suffering of children and those affected by the aggression and siege.

For his part, the Deputy Governor for Humanitarian Affairs confirmed that the Supreme Council is making important efforts to ensure the continuity of humanitarian work through the facilities it provides that allow organizations to implement their projects that contribute to alleviating the human suffering that Yemen is experiencing as a result of the aggression and siege.

For his part, Manna stressed
the commitment of the Save the Children organization to coordination and cooperation with the national authorities represented by the Supreme Council for Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation, and to make all efforts to expand its activities.

He appreciated the efforts made by the Council to provide facilities to humanitarian organizations working in Yemen.

The meeting was attended by the Director General of Local Organizations in the Supreme Council, Abdul Salam Al-Nawab, and a number of those concerned with the Child Welfare Organization.
