SDAIA Internal Systems and Others It Hosts Are Not Affected by the Technical Failure that Struck Most Countries of the World Today

The Saudi Data and AI Authority (SDAIA) confirmed that its technical internal systems, as well as the government systems it hosts, are operating without interruption despite the technical failure that affected many countries today. SDAIA's official spokesman, Eng. Majed Al-Shehri, stated that from the first moment of the technical malfunction, SDAIA has been working through its national technical teams to ensure the operation of its internal systems and the government systems it hosts, sparing them from any malfunction. These systems were built by qualified national cadres in the fields of computer technology and programming, at the highest level of technical construction, ensuring a rapid transition from one system to another in the event of any technical issues, as demonstrated today. He added that SDAIA's qualified national teams, who work around the clock, have managed with the concerned authorities to secure digital government services without interruption. Al-Shehri emphasized that while the nature of cyberspace is subject to many risks, SDAIA is working to establish a firm infrastructure for government agencies with the latest computer technologies related to data and AI, guaranteeing their quality and safety from any potential risks.
