Dubai, The Rewired Education Summit, which was organized with the support of governments, global education actors, strategic partners and the private sector, started at Dubai Exhibition Center on the Expo site from December 12 to 14, with the attendance of more than 2,000 participants from different countries. The topics focused on examining three main issues in the education sector: future skills of youths, education financing, and innovation in education.
A delegation of the Saudi Fund for Development (SFD), headed by the Executive Director of the Strategy Sector Dr. Abdullah bin Suleiman Al-Sukran, participated in the work of the summit.
The work of the Rewired Education Summit aims to find sustainable solutions to the challenges facing the world in the field of education by exploring new and innovative methods, and to give participants a unique opportunity to reach a unified vision and take concrete measures to advance the future of education.
Dr. Abdullah Al-Sakran stressed the keenness of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on the importance of education and supporting it, through SFD, in advancing the educational process and supporting international efforts to enhance access to quality education opportunities, while enhancing the levels of educational services provided for children in the least developed countries.
