Sharjah: The Sharjah Police (SP), represented by the Central Region Police Department, convened a dialogue session to deliberate on security strategies for the desert areas of the Central Region, especially with the onset of the winter season. The session, which focused on the various activities and events scheduled during this period, was attended by Brigadier General Ibrahim Musabah Al Ajel, Director-General of the Comprehensive Police Centres at SP, along with other senior officials.
According to Emirates News Agency, the meeting brought together key figures such as Brigadier General Faisal Ibrahim Bin Nassar, Deputy Director-General of the Comprehensive Police Centres, and Brigadier General Khalifa Musabah Al Ketbi, Director of the Central Region Police Department. They were joined by Colonel Jassim Mohammed Bin Taliah, Deputy Director of the Central Region Police Department, heads of comprehensive police centres in the central region, and several specialised officers.
The discussions at the session covered crucial topics, including strategies to preserve desert tourism in the Emirate. A significant focus was placed on monitoring the process of renting shops for motorcycles, ensuring the provision of safety and protection measures for visitors to these areas. Brigadier General Khalifa Musabah Al Ketbi highlighted the importance of these discussions, noting that the session aimed to boost security readiness and enhance coordination and integration with strategic partners. This is in preparation for the tourist season in the desert areas, renowned for their notable facilities and landmarks.
