Sharjah: His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has issued a directive for the employment of 603 Emirati citizens in the Sharjah Government during May and June 2026. This initiative is part of the emirate's ongoing commitment to fostering national talent and supporting graduates in their professional development. It aligns with Sharjah's broader strategy to enhance workforce capabilities and empower Emirati skills within government sectors. According to Emirates News Agency, the announcement was confirmed by Abdullah Ibrahim Al Zaabi, Chairman of the Sharjah Department of Human Resources. Al Zaabi shared this information during a phone interview on the 'Direct Line' programme broadcasted on Sharjah Radio and Television. This recruitment effort underscores the importance placed by Sharjah's leadership on nurturing local talent and providing employment opportunities that contribute to the emirate's socio-economic development.
