Sharjah Ruler Pardons 738 Inmates on Occasion of Ramadan

Sharjah: On the occasion of the Holy Month of Ramadan, His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has pardoned 738 inmates, thanks to their good behaviour. The inmates were serving their sentences at Sharjah's correctional and punitive establishment.

According to Emirates News Agency, this gesture is part of the annual tradition observed during Ramadan, aiming to provide the pardoned individuals with an opportunity to reintegrate into society. The initiative reflects the humanitarian values associated with the holy month and underscores the commitment to offering second chances to those who have demonstrated positive conduct during their incarceration.
