Baghdad The Secretary-General of the Asaeb Ahlul- Haq Movement, Sheikh Qais Al-Khazali, received in his office in Baghdad today, Thursday, the Speaker of the Jordanian Parliament, Ahmed Al-Safadi, and the accompanying delegation of members of the Jordanian Parliament.
A statement by Khazali’s office stated that during the meeting, they discussed a number of issues and files of common interest to the two brotherly peoples of Iraq and Jordan, and the importance of activating and developing parliamentary relations because of their great positive impact on the two neighboring countries.
Al-Khazali expressed his support for the security and stability of Jordan and all countries in the region, believing that security cannot be divided, as security in Jordan means security in Iraq.
For his part, Al-Safadi thanked Sheikh Al-Khazali’s welcome to the Jordanian parliamentary delegation, expressing his satisfaction with Sheikh Khazali’s deep and welcoming political horizon in understanding the political situation and its complexities in the region.
