Dubai: Ski Dubai announced the winners of the seventh edition of the DXB Snow Run, which took place on Sunday, 17 May. The unique event, organized by Dubai Sports Council, saw participation from 1,000 athletes aged 13-70 from 79 nationalities, including 327 Emiratis, competing in either 3km or 5km races on the slopes of the World's Best Indoor Ski Resort.
According to Emirates News Agency, the event was held under the theme of 'Growing in Unity' in the UAE Year of Family. This -4°C running experience aimed to unite families, friends, and communities, garnering an overwhelming response from the sport-loving community.
In the 5km race, Pia Hansske emerged victorious in the women's category with a time of 00:24:41, followed by Paola Garcia and Gabriela Fatu. Egor Mishutin claimed first place in the men's category, completing the race in 00:20:32, with Yon Moreno and Vegard Hansske finishing second and third, respectively.
For the 3km race, Sophie Geddes won the women's category in 00:18:25, with Liset Burguera and Olga Belokrylova trailing closely behind. In the men's category, Mohammed Al Hassani secured the top position with a time of 00:13:38, followed by Yeison Londono Franco and Omar Al Mehairi.
In the team race, Team Dubai Police took the first place with a time of 00:16:37, followed by C4 MOE and The Five.
