Some of them are more than 50 years old – Bethlehem Land Authority crews finish archiving transactions

Bethlehem – Ma’an – Under the directives of the head of the Land Authority, Counselor Alaa Al-Tamimi, and in continuation of previous efforts, the Land Authority’s teams in the Bethlehem office have completed archiving transactions completed from 1968 until 2024.

The archiving process began in March 2024 and continued until October 2024. The archiving process included Jordanian, English, and Ottoman transactions, with a total of 16,200 transactions archived.

The archiving process in the Land Authority is considered a fundamental pillar in the development process, as it is considered a basic condition in the digital transformation process, as the Land Authority employs technology to improve the service, in order to facilitate citizens and save time and effort.

The Director of the Bethlehem Land Registration Office, Saleh Kanaan, expressed his happiness with the achievement that was made, and thanked all the employees of the Land Authority in Bethlehem for their efforts in the archiving process, especially
in these difficult political and economic circumstances that they are going through like the rest of our people.
