Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi and Burjeel Holdings Collaborate to Enhance Medical Education

Abu Dhabi: Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi (SUAD) and Burjeel Holdings have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at fostering innovation in medical education, research, and professional training. This collaboration is poised to bring about significant advancements in the healthcare sector by bridging academia and clinical practice through joint research, training programs, and shared educational resources.

According to Emirates News Agency, the MoU was signed by Professor Nathalie Martial-Braz, Chancellor of Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi, and John Sunil, Group CEO of Burjeel Holdings, at Burjeel Headquarters, with senior representatives from both institutions in attendance. The partnership aims to promote academic excellence and enhance professional development, offering students industry-relevant knowledge through specialised training programs and hands-on experiences.

The collaboration will see both institutions engage in pioneering studies and host research methodology workshops, facilitated by experts from Burjeel, to enrich students' research capabilities. 'At Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi, we are committed to developing future healthcare leaders through strong academic training, research, and industry collaboration,' said Professor Nathalie Martial-Braz.
