SPEA Approves New Leadership for Sharjah Private Schools Council

Sharjah: The Sharjah Private Education Authority (SPEA) has officially approved the composition of the fourth term of the Private Schools Directors Council in the Emirate of Sharjah. This initiative is part of SPEA's continuous efforts to enhance the private education system and strengthen institutional partnerships with private schools throughout the emirate.

According to Emirates News Agency, the decision to approve the new council formation for the fourth term was made during an official meeting attended by private school directors. The newly appointed leadership includes Majd Madi Al Sheikh Hussein as Chair of the Council, James Stanley Stirance as Vice-Chair, and Raed Sobhi Youssef Abdullah and Samar Al Shalabi Murad as Executive Members. Additionally, Valerie Louise Thompson has been appointed as Secretary of the Council.

The Private Schools Directors Council comprises several other members, including Khadija Hassan Ayoush, Asmaa Gilani, Dr. Pramod Mahajan, Syed Najaf Ali Shah, Asmaa Mohammed Ali Abu Shaikha, Dr. Nasreen Banoo Pedirehali Raoof, Tariq Sheikh Ismail, Wisam Ibrahim Hamad, Samer Mahmoud, and Mona Mohammed, all serving as council members in their respective capacities.

Operating under its approved mandate and responsibilities with the slogan 'Together we learn, lead and serve', the Council functions as an educational advisory body. It represents private education schools in Sharjah, aiming to enable these schools to participate actively in providing consultation and contributing to educational decision-making processes.

The Authority emphasizes that the formation of the Council signifies its dedication to fostering integrated collaboration with private schools. It provides an effective platform for cooperation and consultation, thereby contributing to the improvement of the private education system and the advancement of educational performance in the Emirate of Sharjah.
