SPEA Participates in UK’s BETT Show.


Dubai: Sharjah Private Education Authority (SPEA) is participating in the British Educational Training and Technology Show (BETT Show), one of the largest education technology events in the world, hosted in London, from 22nd to 24th January. The delegation is led by Ali Al Hosani, the Director of the SPEA. Through an engaging interactive platform, the authority will highlight Sharjah’s commitment to enhancing the education sector.

According to Emirates News Agency, this initiative reflects the region’s leadership in utilising technology to elevate the quality of education. The platform includes a group of prestigious academic and educational institutions in the emirate, including Sharjah Education Academy, Sharjah Centre for Learning Difficulties, University of Al Dhaid, University of Sharjah, University of Khorfakkan, University of Kalba, Sharjah Police Science Academy, and the Arabic Language Academy in Sharjah, in addition to the participation of several private schools.

Al Hosani highlighted that the au
thority’s involvement in BETT aligns with its vision to strengthen international collaboration in education. This initiative aims to explore cutting-edge technological innovations that enhance learning environments and foster the exchange of expertise with prominent international institutions. He mentioned that the authority is set to evaluate the latest educational projects and initiatives, showcasing its dedication to improving educational outcomes by implementing best practices from around the world.

Additionally, a workshop titled ‘Sharjah as a Regional Educational Centre’ will be held on January 23, featuring a panel of educational and academic experts. These professionals will share insights aimed at reinforcing Sharjah’s status as a prominent hub for education in the region. The SPEA platform provides innovative media resources designed to introduce visitors to the Authority’s latest initiatives aimed at improving the education sector.

The focus is on fostering international cooperation, exploring mo
dern technologies, and sharing expertise with educational institutions worldwide. The Authority encourages private schools and educational organizations to explore its platform and take advantage of the activities accompanying the exhibition. With an expected distinguished attendance of visitors and participants from around the globe, this event will significantly elevate Sharjah’s standing on the global education stage.
