Speaker of Saudi Shura Council Meets Chairman of Bahraini Shura Council

Manama, Chairman of the Bahraini Shura Council Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh has praised the pivotal role and multiple contributions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at all regional and international levels under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, commending the deep-rooted and historical ties between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia that receive full support from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain.

Al-Saleh made his remarks during his meeting with Speaker of the Shura Council Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh and an accompanying delegation at the Bahraini Shura Council as part of Sheikh Dr. Al-Sheikh’s official visit to Bahrain.

Al-Saleh noted that His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, and Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and the Prime Minister of Bahrain, have remarkable efforts upon directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the King of Bahrain to boost cooperation levels in all fields of progress and growth, adding that they have a future vision and aspirations for a brighter future for the two countries and peoples.

He added that sustaining the prosperity of the deep-rooted historical ties between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia stresses both leaderships’ keenness to enhance renaissance courses, referring to the special ties between the two Kingdoms.

Al-Saleh also praised the side scopes of coordination and cooperation between the two shura councils in the two countries, especially in regional and international parliamentary events and the distinguished consensus in opinions and points of view towards issues and subjects discussed in parliamentary conferences, noting that legislative cooperation between the two sides is a main aspect in consolidating cooperation.

He also reiterated Bahrain’s unaltered and fixed position on supporting the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s steps to enhance its security and safety.

For his part, Sheikh Dr. Al Al-Sheikh expressed his pride in the high level of partnerships and cooperation between the two countries over the history, which was founded by the fathers and grandfathers and adopted by sons till the present day, which resulted in an integration and development in all vital and important fields.

He also said that the two Kingdoms are moving ahead with a steady will and strong resolve towards garnering more comprehensive development achievements in important fields to realize the Sustainable Development Goals, welfare and prosperity for the two brotherly countries and peoples.

During the meeting, a number of topics of common interest were also discussed.

Several officials from both sides attended the discussions.
