Riyadh, Speaker of the Shura Council Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh is scheduled to pay an official visit to the Republic of Turkiye tomorrow at an invitation of the Speaker of Turkish Grand National Assembly Dr. Mustafa Shentop, it was reported today.
In a statement to highlight the visit, Al Al-Sheikh pointed out that the fraternal and historic ties binding the two countries and peoples of Saudi Arabia and Turkiye will be the core of interest of his visit.
He also cited the outcomes of the visit of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Turkiye following a state visit of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to the Kingdom during which he had talks with the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and HRH the Crown Prince.
Al Al-Sheikh said talks to be held during his visit to Turkiye are set to deal with ways to promote parliamentary relations between the two chambers.
A powerful Shura delegation will accompany Al Al-Sheikh during the visit.
