Spring Blooms Paint a Picturesque Landscape in Harrat Al-Harrah Protected Area


Turaif, Harrat Al-Harrah, a key area in the King Salman bin Abdulaziz Royal Nature Reserve (KSRNR), has come alive with stunning springtime scenes. Lush green meadows, valleys, and plains, sprinkled with glistening bodies of water left by recent rainfalls, created a breathtaking canvas of nature’s splendors.

Harrat Al-Harrah is a haven for diverse wildlife. Visitors can spot a variety of animals, including Arabian gazelles, Arabian wolves, sand cats, hares, and desert monitors. The region is also home to a variety of resident and migratory birds, such as houbara bustards and lapwings.

The flora includes a range of herbs, plants, and trees, such as acacia and tamarisk.

The flourishing landscape in Harrat Al-Harrah is testament to the successful conservation efforts exerted by KSRNR. The reserve’s dedication to protecting the region’s unique ecosystem has resulted in a thriving habitat for a wide range of species.
