The British pound rose Tuesday against the US dollar and Europe's euro, exceeding the $1.30 barrier. According to reports from British financial centres, the pound was traded against the dollar at $1.3014, an increase of 0.20 per cent, and it also rose against the euro by 0.23 per cent to reach pound 1.1743.
