Supported by KSrelief, Prosthetic Limbs Center in Taiz, Yemen provides medical services for 529 beneficiaries in November

Taiz, Yemen, Supported by King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), the Project for Operating Artificial Limbs and Rehabilitation Center in Taiz Governorate, Yemen, provided various medical services for 529 beneficiaries of the Yemeni people who lost their limbs in November 2022. During the project, 1917 services were provided, where the percentage of males reached 68% and the percentage of females 32%, the percentage of displaced persons constituted 7% and residents 93%. The prostheses were manufactured, installed and rehabilitated for 172 patients and the physiotherapy services which varied between physical therapy sessions and specialized consultations were provided for 357 patients.

This medical aid comes as an extension of the humanitarian projects being provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by the center, to raise the capabilities of the health sector and alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people.
