Damascus, IOI Syrian Olympiad Team obtained many prizes at the training camp organized remotely by the International School in Informatics “Junior” for IOI Training in Russia between July 1st and 10th with participation of 315 students whose ages range between 13-16 years representing 36 teams from 16 states.
“The team managed to gain 2 silver medals and 3 bronze ones at the programing marathon in addition to obtaining another silver one for the whole team at the Programming Contest. The whole team gained also 5 certificates of appreciation at the contest,” Distinction and Creativity Agency said in a statement.
The statement added that the team ranked second at the Robot programming.
The camp was distinguished by the multiple forms of training and competitions in programming within the tracks (mathematics, competitive programming, relay, marathon, general programming and robot programming)
