Taif University Ranks Among the Top 500 Universities Worldwide

Taif University achieved a significant milestone by being ranked among the top 500 universities worldwide in the 2024 Shanghai Academic Ranking of World Universities. This marks the third consecutive year that the university has been in the top 500, reflecting its commitment to high-quality scientific research in line with global standards. The university said its ranking among the top 500 universities worldwide is the result of the relentless efforts and ongoing dedication of its administration and all members. It added that the achievement represents an important step towards academic and scientific leadership. It also said that the accomplishment is attributed to several integrated factors that have contributed to enhancing the university’s global standing, including primarily the increased focus on scientific research as a cornerstone of its strategy and collaboration with global academic and research institutions. These efforts, the university said, have contributed to the growth and efficiency of scie ntific output and its publication in prestigious international journals, thanks to the support of the Kingdom's leadership. In remarks to the Saudi Press Agency, Taif University Dean of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research Dr. Walaa bin Fahd Al-Sanea said that the global ranking is a result of collective efforts and evidence that the university is on the right track to achieve its vision and mission.
