Head of the High Council of State (HCS), Mohamed Takala, addressed yesterday the Speaker of the House of Representatives (HoR), Ageela Saleh, rejecting the individual decisions issued by the HoR. Takala said in his letter that the council rejects all individual decisions issued by the HoR that did not take into account consultation with the HCS when issuing them. He referred to the generalization to the government and state agencies, as well as regional and international institutions and parties, 'not to take into account any legislation issued by the HoR, and to consider it ineffective, unless the HCS issues evidence that it fulfills the conditions for the validity of its issuance.' Takala based his address on the texts of the Libyan Political Agreement and the decisions and documents attached to it, 'in addition to the desire to bridge the gap of differences, which he said did not find a response from the HoR, but rather a determination to persist in perpetuating your power,' which he considered It refl ects 'an implicit desire to undermine all efforts to overcome the current political impasse.' "You have continued to ignore our repeated appeals and your insistence on monopolizing the management of the reins of affairs in the country, which has reached the point of seizing control of executive authorities, the most recent of which was a law regarding Hajj and Umrah, which will not be the last.' Takala said.
