Takala reviews the details of the agreement that the Oil Corporation intends to sign with the coalition of companies, Italian Eni, Emirati ADNOC, and French Total.


The President of the High Council of State, Muhammad Takala, met in the presence of First Deputy Masoud Obaid and the Chairman of the Council’s Public Services Committee, Muhammad Abu Ghamja, on Wednesday, with a group of oil and gas experts, at the Council’s headquarters in Tripoli.

During the meeting, the agreement that the National Oil Corporation intends to sign with a consortium of companies that includes the Italian Eni, the Emirati ADNOC, and the French Total, was discussed in order to invest in the Hamada NC7 field.

The experts briefed the Council President on the details of this agreement and the suspicions of corruption and neglect of the country’s capabilities.

Takala reassured the audience that the Council had taken a decision to address a letter to the Prime Minister of the National Unity Government and to the President of the National Oil Corporation in particular.
