The General Corporation for Textile Industry announced on Monday the prices of medium-staple raw cotton according to the prevailing quality standards locally.
The corporation indicated in a statement, a copy of which was received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), that the prices of the first pound are 370 riyals per kilogram, and the second pound is 340 riyals per kilogram.
It called on all farmers wishing to sell cotton to go to the nearest gin affiliated with the Corporation in the city of Hodeida or Zabid District, noting that this pricing is effective from the date of the Corporation’s statement.
