Baghdad, The Kuwaiti consul in Basra, Mohsen Al-Ajmi, said that the total number of Kuwaitis who entered since the start of the championship in the province exceeded twenty thousand Kuwaiti fans, amid absolute facilities for their entry procedures from their vehicles , and with a very high smoothness.
Al-Ajmi added to the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) that the State of Kuwait, with its government and people, is strongly supportive of every sports forum that Iraq and Basra would like to host in the future, especially after the effort shown by everyone during the 25th Gulf Championship, indicating that organizational matters and the receiving of delegations and fans are going very well and there is satisfaction and happiness by all delegations participating in the tournament.
Al-Ajmi indicated that the Kuwaiti fans are still flocking to Basra Governorate to support and encourage the Kuwaiti national team.
