Benghazi: Acting Head of the UNSMIL, Stephanie Koury, reiterated the UNSMIL's commitment to support the efforts to reach solutions that protect the status of the Central Bank of Libya (CBL) and its international credit rating. During her meeting with Khalifa Haftar yesterday, she also stressed the need for the House of Representatives (HoR) and the High Council of State (HCS) to agree on the position of the Governor of CBL, noting that the mission will exert its efforts to achieve this consensus. According to the website of the government assigned by the HoR, the meeting discussed the latest political development in Libya and the CBL's crisis and its economic, security, and political repercussions.
