Baghdad The President of the Republic, Barham Salih, stressed the depth of brotherly relations between Iraq and Kuwait and the need to work on strengthening them.
A presidential statement said that the President of the Republic received today, Tuesday, at Al-Salam Palace in Baghdad, Kuwaiti Ambassador Salem Al-Zamanan, on the occasion of the end of his tenure.
The President of the Republic commended the efforts of the Ambassador during his period of work in Iraq to develop relations between the two countries, wishing him success in his future assignments, pointing to the depth of the deep brotherly relations between Iraq and Kuwait, and the need to work on strengthening them towards more cooperation in all fields, in a manner that serves the interests of the two peoples and the two brotherly countries, and joint coordination in order to establish security and stability in the region.
For his part, the Kuwaiti ambassador affirmed his country’s commitment to supporting the security and stability of Iraq, and strengthening bilateral relations in various fields towards more cooperation frameworks for the benefit of the two neighboring peoples.
