Minister of Trade and Industry Nevine Gamea chaired Friday the first meeting of the textile industries council after its re-formation.
The meeting focused on developing cotton planting and developing the textile and garment industries.
Gamea stressed the government’s interest in developing the industries of textile and ready-made clothes to meet the demand of the local market, in addition to exporting to foreign ones in attempt to benefit from Egypt’s industrial and agricultural potentials and support the national economy.
