Bahrain: TRENDS Research and Advisory, a division of TRENDS Group, has partnered with the Ras Al Khaimah Chamber of Commerce and Industry to enhance institutional cooperation and foster the development of a sustainable knowledge economy. The agreement was formalized by Rashid Khalfan Al Nuaimi, Director-General of Ras Al Khaimah Chamber, and Ali Abdullah Al Ali, Director of TRENDS Dubai.
According to Emirates News Agency, the collaboration will focus on specialized economic research and studies aimed at supporting commercial and industrial policies. This will provide decision-makers with research-based insights and further the objectives outlined in Ras Al Khaimah Vision 2030. The initiative also aims to bolster research and advisory services in renewable energy, the environment, and smart infrastructure, assisting Chamber members in identifying growth opportunities in regional and global markets.
Both parties will engage in economic studies, knowledge reports, and field surveys targeting promising sectors in Ras Al Khaimah. These efforts will include assessments of business confidence, market needs, and client trends. Al Nuaimi emphasized that the partnership underscores the importance of research and knowledge in economic development and will equip the Chamber with analytical and advisory capabilities to attract investment and support businesses.
Additionally, the cooperation will extend to applied research in logistics, industry, and tourism. It will include training programs designed to equip young professionals with skills in strategic analysis, innovation management, and interpreting economic indicators. Al Ali highlighted that TRENDS will offer specialized analytical insights, research projects, and training expertise to support Ras Al Khaimah's commercial, industrial, and investment sectors.
Moreover, the agreement includes offering Chamber members advisory services such as feasibility studies, risk assessments, emerging-market analysis, and operating model development to aid regional and international expansion. The partnership will also explore joint research initiatives with international universities and research centers focusing on energy, environment, and digital transformation. Conferences and forums will be organized to discuss future trends in the knowledge economy.
