TRENDS Research and Advisory Hosts Dialogue with International Institute for Cultural Diplomacy

Abu dhabi: TRENDS Research and Advisory recently hosted a delegation from the International Institute for Cultural Diplomacy for a dialogue session aimed at strengthening international partnerships and expanding knowledge and research cooperation with global think tanks and academic institutions.

According to Emirates News Agency, the discussions focused on enhancing research cooperation and the exchange of expertise and knowledge. The two organizations explored opportunities to launch joint strategic initiatives in public and cultural diplomacy and to organize joint conferences, seminars, and research programs. These efforts aim to enrich dialogue on current international issues and strengthen the global presence of both institutions.

Mohammed Al-Salmi, Senior Researcher and Head of the Research Sector at TRENDS Research and Advisory, stated that the meeting underscores TRENDS' commitment to building effective international knowledge partnerships that contribute to knowledge production and support decision-making. He emphasized the role of cultural diplomacy in fostering closer ties between peoples and enhancing dialogue and international cooperation.

Al-Salmi expressed TRENDS' anticipation of translating the meeting's outcomes into practical projects and initiatives. These efforts are aimed at promoting knowledge exchange, reinforcing joint efforts, building bridges of cultural communication, and enriching the research landscape at both regional and international levels.
