Tribal meeting in Sana’a to discuss arrangements for commemoration of Wilaya Day

A meeting held today at the Tribal Cohesion Council, chaired by the Vice-President of the Shura Council - Chairman of the Council of Cohesion, Sheikh Daifallah Rassam, discussed arrangements for the commemoration of Wilaya Day.

The meeting stressed the importance of the active participation of the Yemeni tribes in the central activities of the anniversary of the state day (Eid al-Ghadeer) in the capital, Sana'a, and the rest of the provinces, in a way that befits the position of Imam Ali, peace be upon him, in the hearts of Yemenis... calling for a broad and honorable exit on this occasion.

Rassam also called on the tribes and clans of Yemen, the Arab, Islamic nation, and the free people of the world to economically and diplomatically boycott the normalizing and offensive regimes of Islam, the Noble Prophet Muhammad, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family, and the Holy Qur’an, and the general mobilization of jihad against the Zionist enemy, and the rejection of all methods of normalization with it as a religious, national and human duty.

The meeting condemned the barbaric aggression and war of extermination carried out by the Zionist enemy entity against the Palestinian people and the sanctities of the Islamic nation, the latest of which was the aggression against Jenin camp.

He praised the heroic operations carried out by the heroes of the resistance in response to the enemy's arrogance in Jenin, stressing the readiness of the Yemeni tribes to contribute to confronting the Zionist entity and defending the sanctities.

Participants in the meeting denounced the silence of the printing and puppet Arab regimes towards the burning of the Noble Qur’an.

They also denounced what travelers through the occupied Yemeni regions are subjected to, in terms of interruption, killing, looting and kidnapping.

The meeting also stressed the importance of raising the readiness of the tribes of Yemen in preparation for any emergency, and for any options approved by the revolutionary leadership and the Supreme Political Council.

In the meeting, the head of the Tribal Cohesion Council stressed the importance of mobilization and active participation in the commemoration of Wilaya Day in a manner befitting the status of Imam Ali, peace be upon him, and the close association of Yemenis with him.

He pointed out that the memory of Wilaya day has a great place in the hearts of the Yemeni people, who have been celebrating it since ancient times as an embodiment of our commitment to the orders of the Messenger, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family.

A member of the Association of Yemeni Scholars, Judge Muhammad al-Bashiq, and the acting head of the General Authority for Tribal Affairs, Sheikh Abdul Ghani Rassam, pointed out that the renewal of allegiance to Imam Ali is a commitment to God's command, which he communicated to the Messenger, may God bless him and his family and grant them peace.
