Abu Dhabi, Syrian Karate team won two gold medals in addition to one silver and another bronze on the first day of the West Asian Karate Championship being held in UAE with a participation of numerous Arab states, along with Syria.
Marya al-Hallawi and Layal Selman were the two athletes who obtained the gold medals.The silver one was gained by athlete Abdu Kareem al-Halawi, while the bronze was for Sameer Qabbani.
