Hrtgenwald: Two people were killed when a light aircraft crashed in a forest in western Germany. Stefan Kranen, Mayor of Hrtgenwald in North Rhine-Westphalia, reported that the aircraft went down near the town shortly after taking off from an airport near Aachen. The wreckage was discovered by hikers who were traversing the forested area.
