The Intelligence Agency announced today Sunday, the arrest of two suspects and the seizure of a kilogram of narcotic crystal in Baghdad.
The agency said in a statement: “Based on accurate intelligence information reached by the Federal Intelligence and Investigation Agency at the Ministry of Interior, which included the presence of a dangerous criminal dealing in narcotics, a work team was formed, and after verifying the information, a qualitative duty was carried out and an accused person was arrested with a kilogram of crystal drugs in his possession in Baghdad governorate, and they were seized according to the rules.
It added: “The agency’s detachments were able, in another operation, to arrest a wanted suspect in accordance with the provisions of Article 28 of narcotics in Diyala Governorate,” noting that “legal measures have been taken duly.”
