UAE and Global Allies Condemn Israeli Minister’s Actions in Joint Statement

Abu dhabi: The Foreign Ministers of the United Arab Emirates, Jordan, Trkiye, Egypt, Indonesia, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar have jointly condemned the actions of Israeli Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir against participants of the Gaza-bound flotilla during their detention in Israel. The ministers expressed their strong disapproval of the degrading treatment inflicted by Ben-Gvir, describing it as an unacceptable assault on human dignity and a violation of Israel's international obligations.

According to Emirates News Agency, the ministers emphasized the need for accountability and called for definitive measures to prevent further provocations by Ben-Gvir. They highlighted that his actions not only violate international humanitarian and human rights laws but also exacerbate tensions and hinder efforts toward achieving a two-state solution. The statement further condemned the incitement and violence directed at Palestinians by Ben-Gvir and other Israeli officials, urging an end to such extremist conduct.

The ministers reiterated their commitment to protecting human rights and ensuring the humane treatment of detainees. They stressed the importance of adhering to international law within the Occupied Palestinian Territory, calling for immediate action to curb Ben-Gvir's repeated provocations. By demanding accountability, the ministers aim to prevent any recurrence of such actions and to foster an environment conducive to peace and stability in the region.
