ABU DHABI: José María Figueres, the Former President of Costa Rica, said that the UAE exemplifies a nation with a well-defined vision and roadmap for its future. “It’s actively pursuing its goals and making significant progress.”
In statements to the Emirates News Agency (WAM) on the sidelines of the third annual conference of Investopia, which kicked off in Abu Dhabi today, the former president considered the Investopia Summit a great and important gathering in the world of investment, saying ‘the event does not only gather capitalists, but also intellectual leaders to discuss global events and what the future may look like.’
He stressed the importance of the role played by the UAE at various levels, noting: ‘The leading role of the United Arab Emirates is very encouraging in a world that has become more complicated.’
