UAE Condemns Houthi Attempt to Target Khamis Mushait, Saudi Arabia, with Bomb-laden Drone

Abu Dhabi, The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has strongly condemned the attempts of the terrorist Houthi militias to target civilians and civilian objects in Khamis Mushait City, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with a bomb-laden drone, which was intercepted and destroyed by the Coalition Forces.

The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MoFAIC) affirmed in a statement that the continuous terror attacks by the Houthis reflect their blatant disregard for the international community and all international laws and norms.

The UAE urged the international community to take an immediate and decisive stance to stop these repeated attacks that target vital and civilian facilities, the security of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and global energy supplies, stressing that the continuation of these attacks is a dangerous escalation and new evidence of these militias’ attempts to undermine security and stability in the region.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs renewed the UAE’s full solidarity with Saudi Arabia against these terrorist attacks and reiterated its firm position opposing any threat to the Kingdom’s security and stability. The UAE also voiced support for all measures taken by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to maintain the safety and security of its citizens and residents.

The statement confirmed that the security of the UAE and that of Saudi Arabia are indivisible and that any threat to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is considered a threat to the security and stability of the UAE.
