Abu Dhabi, The UAE has expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the Iranian-backed terrorist militia’s targeting of King Abdullah Airport in Jizan with a drone.
In a statement issued by its Ministry of Foreign Affairs, UAE affirmed that the attempt to target the airport and the resulting injury of a number of civilians is a cowardly act of terrorism and a war crime that requires a deterrent response to all that threatens the security, safety and life of civilians. The UAE calls on the world community to support the actions and measures taken by the coalition forces to support legitimacy in Yemen to stop the Houthi militia targeting civilian objects, and to deter their threats from the countries of the region.
The Ministry reiterated the UAE’s full solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the face of these terrorist attacks, standing in line with it against any threat to its security, and supporting all measures it takes to preserve its security and the safety of its citizens and expatriates.
