San Francisco:Omar Sultan Al Olama, UAE's Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, emphasized the country's commitment to advancing AI-enabled governance during a UAE government delegation's visit to the United States.
According to Emirates News Agency, this visit included participation in Dreamforce 2026, Salesforce's annual conference in San Francisco, where over 50 Chief AI Officers were present. Al Olama, during a keynote fireside chat with Salesforce Chair and CEO Marc Benioff, showcased the UAE's pioneering efforts in developing an AI-powered government.
Al Olama highlighted the UAE's strategy of integrating agentic AI to enhance government performance and public service delivery. He stated that this participation aligns with the UAE's vision of transforming technology opportunities into national capabilities. The UAE aims to transition 50% of its government services to agentic AI-powered models within two years.
The session at Dreamforce explored the UAE's practices in embedding AI into government systems, discussing the shift from generative to agentic AI and its potential to redesign services.
