UAE leaders condole Saudi King on passing of Prince Mohammed bin BadrLibya and Italy discusses the activation of the joint committee.

ABU DHABI: President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has sent a message of condolences to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia on the passing of Prince Mohammed bin Badr bin Fahd bin Saad Al Awal Al Abdurrahman Al Saud.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court, also dispatched similar messages to the Saudi King.

Tripoli: Minister of Finance of the Government of National Unity, Khaled Al-Mabrouk, discussed yesterday, Friday, in Tripoli, with the Italian Minister of Economy and Finance, ‘Giancarlo Giorgetti,’ and his accompanying delegation, the reactivation of the Libyan-Italian Joint Committee and the agreement to avoid double taxation between Libya and Italy.

According to the Ministry of Finance, the two sides also discussed cooperation mechanisms in the fields of training, raising the efficiency of customs guard members, and building their capabilities in the field of coastal protection, in addition to cooperation and training in the field of combating money laundering.

During this meeting, Al-Mabrouk welcomed the return of Italian companies to work in Libya in development projects and investment fields, especially clean energy production.
