UAE overall nation champions of 10th FAI World Canopy Piloting Championships in South Africa

JOHANNESBURG: Of the 19 nations competing, UAE became the overall nation champions ahead of France and Australia in the 10th FAI World Canopy Piloting Championships in South Africa. Fourteen FAI record claims were made during the competition, at both continental and world level, and are pending ratification. The event took place in Pretoria, South Africa, from September 22 to September 30. A total of ten teams participated, and the event wrapped up on Monday, September 30. The Emirates Aerosport Federation (EAF) attributed the achievement to the country's wise leadership and thanked Skydive Dubai for their fruitful and constructive cooperation with the Federation for providing training and preparation for the UAE team members.
