UAE Pavilion Facilitates Strategic Engagements at Marrakech Airshow 2026

Marrakech:The UAE Pavilion hosted 30 business meetings on the second day of the Marrakech Airshow 2026, bringing the total to 53 meetings over two days. UAE defense entities were active in engaging industry leaders and government delegations at the Royal Moroccan Air Force Base. Notably, EDGE held seven meetings, Generation 5 held six, Multi Level Group hosted five, and Resource Industries conducted twelve meetings.

According to Emirates News Agency, the UAE Pavilion, supported by the UAE Ministry of Defence and the Tawazun Council for Defence Enablement and organized by ADNEC Group, brought together seven national entities. These entities included the Ministry of Defence, EDGE Group, Generation 5, Multi Level Group (MLG), Resource Industries, Nation Shield, and Al Jundi Journal. This unified platform allowed them to engage directly with international buyers, industry leaders, government representatives, and military delegations.

The Pavilion attracted numerous official delegations, reflecting sustained international interest in the UAE's defense and aerospace capabilities. Senior leadership from EDGE and the Tawazun Council for Defence Enablement were present, engaging with both participating entities and international delegations.

Key visitors included senior representatives from Boeing and Advanced Business Events, along with returning visitors from the UAE Armed Forces and Morocco's Administration of National Defence. The Pavilion welcomed 980 visitors on the day, bringing the total footfall since the show's opening to 2,188.

Capital Events, the event management arm of ADNEC Group, held 20 meetings to promote upcoming editions of the International Defence Exhibition (IDEX), Naval Defence and Maritime Security Exhibition (NAVDEX), and the International Defence Conference 2027. Additionally, 11 meetings were held to promote the Unmanned Systems Exhibition (UMEX) 2028, and six meetings for the International Exhibition for National Security and Resilience (ISNR), highlighting the growing appeal of Abu Dhabi's defense and security event portfolio.

The interest generated during the Airshow underscores the global stature of IDEX, NAVDEX, and ISNR, with numerous exhibitors and industry leaders expressing interest in the 2027 editions. The events are expected to welcome a record number of exhibitors and visitors, further establishing their position among the world's leading defense and security exhibitions.

As the Marrakech Airshow 2026 continues towards its conclusion, the UAE Pavilion is poised to maintain its momentum with ongoing meetings and exhibitor activity until the show's end on October 10. Launched in 2008 and held biennially, the Marrakech Airshow is Morocco's premier aerospace event, uniting the global civil, military, and space sectors.

The UAE Pavilion remains open to visitors at stands K1 and J3 throughout the event, providing opportunities for engagement with senior leaders, engineers, and specialists from across the UAE's participating entities.
