Abu dhabi: Major General Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi, Inspector General of the Ministry of Interior and Chairman of the Higher Organising Committee of the International Exhibition for National Security and Resilience (ISNR 2026), emphasized the exhibition's significance in enhancing security and safety measures to protect societies and prepare for future challenges.
According to Emirates News Agency, Al Raisi highlighted the importance of ISNR 2026, which will be held under the patronage of H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior. The event is scheduled from 19th to 21st May at the ADNEC Centre in Abu Dhabi. He noted that the accelerating global security challenges necessitate an exceptional edition that aligns with the UAE's vision for developing future-ready security systems.
Participation from 37 countries underscores the UAE and Abu Dhabi's status as a trusted global hub for dialogue and international cooperation in national security and risk mitigation. Al Raisi stated that the international involvement reflects confidence in ISNR as a platform for decision-makers, experts, and industry leaders to address evolving security threats and develop innovative solutions.
The exhibition will feature local and international companies presenting advancements in cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, surveillance technologies, emergency response systems, and critical infrastructure protection. Al Raisi mentioned that the ninth edition coincides with the Abu Dhabi Global Sustainable Security Summit, enhancing the UAE's role as a global center for security dialogue and future solutions.
ISNR 2026, the largest in the exhibition's history, builds on the success of previous editions as a major global event for security leaders, decision-makers, and innovators. This year's edition introduces six new events, including the AI Security Forum, bringing together government leaders, security agencies, technology providers, and AI experts.
The exhibition will also host the 'Code Breaker' Hackathon, offering simulations of cybersecurity challenges and underscoring the importance of digital protection. Additionally, the 'Fire Hub' platform will display the latest in fire protection technologies with participation from international companies and emergency response entities.
Al Raisi expressed confidence that ISNR 2026 would further solidify Abu Dhabi and the UAE's position as trusted global partners in developing national security systems and mitigating risks.
