‘Umm Hasah’ Stands as Milestone Rock Formation in Northern Borders Region

The "Umm Hasah" rock in the Northern Borders Region is a distinctive geological landmark located at kilometer 55 on the Arar-Jouf highway, on the western shoulder of Wadi Arar. President of the Aman Environmental Society in the Northern Borders Region Nasser Rashid Al-Majlad explained that "Umm Hasah" is one of the most famous and beautiful rock formations in the region. He noted that the rock stands between 6 and 7 meters in height and is characterized by its large size. Al-Majlad explained that the rock consists of geomorphological formations, typically created by the erosion of sedimentary layers over millions of years due to weathering and other natural processes.
