UN Advisory Board on AI Commends Saudi Arabia’s Efforts to Shape Global AI Policies

Participants in the consultation session held by the United Nations Advisory Board during the third annual Global AI Summit (GAIN Summit), organized this year by the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) in Riyadh, have commended the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's efforts to support the board's work, particularly in shaping global AI policies and highlighting its significant impact in this field. The participants reviewed Saudi Arabia's role in advancing the international AI community by hosting and organizing major events that spotlight the advisory board's vision and goals. They reaffirmed the Kingdom's commitment to AI development through active participation in high-level consultations and meetings. An agreement was also reached to prioritize employing Saudi talents in the UN envoy's office and to increase Saudi Arabia's hosting of AI-related events and advisory sessions.
