Abu Dhabi:UN President of the General Assembly Khalilur Rahman has urged the United Nations to take action to prevent falling further behind in the realm of artificial intelligence.
According to Emirates News Agency, Rahman emphasized the importance of establishing 'prudent and reliable guardrails' for AI, drawing on scientific input from outside the government.
He expressed concerns over AI's integration into critical systems globally and warned against an arms race for control of AI that could lead to dangerous consequences.
