UN Security Council meets on Middle East

The United Nations Security Council meets Tuesday to discuss the situation in the Middle East, including the Palestinian issue, the war on the Gaza Strip and a deadly Israeli strike on a school sheltering displaced people. The council will listen to briefings by Rosemary DiCarlo, Under-Secretary-General for Political and Peacebuilding Affairs, and Lisa Doughten, Director of Financing and Partnerships Division at the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs.
