Tripoli: Sources reported that the UNSMIL is hosting new talks on the Central Bank (CBL) crisis today, Wednesday. The sources said that the Presidential Council is expected to approve the appointment of a new governor during this period, amid increasing international and local pressure to end this crisis. The CBL crisis threatens to hinder imports of basic goods and medicines after foreign banks refused to accept transactions from the new administration appointed by the Presidential Council for the bank.
