The S&P 500 index fell by 11.12 points, or 0.14%, closing at 7,672.57 points. The Nasdaq Composite also decreased, shedding 17.72 points, or 0.08%, to end at 26,802.66 points. Additionally, the Dow Jones Industrial Average saw a decline, dropping 136.10 points, or 0.26%, finishing at 51,345.41 points.
