Via Zoom technology: Al-Manfi participates in the meeting of the Steering Committee of Heads of State and Government (NEPAD).


Tripoli: The President of the Presidential Council – President of the Arab Maghreb Union -, Mohamed Al-Manfi, participated today, Tuesday, via Zoom technology, in the work of the 41st meeting of the Steering Committee of Heads of State and Government of the African Union Development Agency (NEPAD).

The Presidential Council’s media office reported that Al-Manfi’s participation came at the official invitation of the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, the current Chairman of the Committee, and with the participation of the President of the United Republic of the Comoros, the President of the African Union, the President of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria, the President of the Republic of Senegal, and the President of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea, Chairperson of the African Union Commission, and Executive Director of the Agency.

The office explained that this meeting comes in implementation of NEPAD’s joint efforts to achieve the aspirations of the goals of the 2063
development agenda, and to meet the aspirations of the African peoples towards a prosperous and secure future.
