New york: The major US stock indices closed higher at the end of Thursday’s trading session.
According to Emirates News Agency, the S and P 500 rose 0.66%, or 51.23 points, to close at 7,799.73 points, while the Nasdaq Composite gained 215.02 points, or 0.81%, to 26,803.51 points. The Dow Jones Industrial Average also advanced 70.91 points, or 0.13%, to 53,833.87 points.
